Project Control - Monitoring systems

Development of Operating Systems for recording progress (delays), performance (disruption) and cost (loss and expense)

The benefit of developing real-time systems to record and monitor progress and performance is that, with effective planning, it is possible to control the quality of information, its structure and usability.

The management and access to paper document information has become increasingly difficult with the exponential increase in documents in comparison to project values.

The old adage "Records, Records, Records" is no longer valid with the current computing technology. All systems should provide for 'focused' record-keeping and, where possible, the use of suitably amended existing record-keeping systems.

The key to any system is to enable as near automatic access and investigation to data to provide for timely analysis of problems and to facilitate up-to-date progress and productivity report

DAQS has significant experience in providing assistance in setting up systems that are sufficiently flexible to respond to the demands of specific projects.

Examples of how systems for progress monitoring and productivity monitoring are structured are included on this website as case studies.
