Event Peter Vinden, Managing Director of The Vinden Partnership has been advising banks and insolvency practitioners on companies involved in construction and engineering processes for the last 15 years. As well as being a chartered quantity surveyor, expert, mediator and reluctant hostage negotiator, Peter has dealt with 130 adjudications as Adjudicator and his firm regularly acts as a party representative both on behalf of and against companies that are subject to one of the insolvency procedures set out in the 1986 and 2000 Insolvency Acts together with The Enterprise Act 2002. His talk will address the problems associated with using adjudication to resolves disputes and ultimately obtaining payment. The Seminar is due to start at 6.15pm and will last for
approximately 1 hour. |
